For 11 years I was an exercise rider at a track in Maryland. After 11 years I fell madly in love with a mount. I'm not much for horse communicators etc, but for whatever reason, I let myself love this horse more than a gallop girl should.
Long story short, he eventually fractured his sesamoid winning a race. He was not wanted by anyone but me.
We are now in our happily ever after stage and I've even adopted a second horse (not a OTTB, though).
Both horses have the Micklem bridle, and the intelligence of that bridle is what got me looking into more information about William Micklem. Here I am.
Hi Susan, I'm sorry for the delay in my response. I haven't been on Barnmice in AGES and just now saw your message. I'm always happy to meet new horse friends. I live in Calvert County down in Southern Maryland. I primarily ride dressage but also play around with some hunter shows and like trail riding and schooling cross country, too.
I hope you're having a nice spring and I look forward to hearing back from you. I can also be reached via email at christina@phyxiusphotos.com
