- I got interested in horses because of my god daughter's passion for them. Less than one year after my first lesson, I was given my own Lippitt Morgan from Vermont, a 20 year old named Lexa. She came to us very thin but is now in beautiful shape and learning to ride again herself after 10 years in a pasture.
