I know my subject sounds confusing but this is the situation: I have started riding again after 12 years ( My new MS meds now give me enough energy to do so) however I suffer from spastity (imagine sever charlie horses -in both legs from toe to hip that last for 20-30 min.) Reg. physio is of no help however riding elminates the problem. My neurologist is amazed (I don't need drugs). - A Bit About Me and my Horse(s)
- i am a mom of three beautiful daughters, a wife of a great husband and an obsessed horse lover! i stared ridding when I was 4 until 35. I took the next 9 years to figure why I felt so sick and tired all of the time. I could barely take care of my kids never mind ride. I would literally cry if I heard a horse whinny ( and I live in the country). After too many doctors and hospitals and tests they figured out that I have RR MS. I take daily injections which have allowed me to start riding again. Besides riding locally I ride at T.E.A.D. where I I am training to comptee in para-dresssage events this summer. I'd love to connect with other para-equestrians!
