A Bit About Me and my Horse(s): Came back to US for few years, and had 2 quarter horses. Now back down here in Brazil, have friends in a very small city outside of Sao Paulo. About once a month we have sometype of several day trail ride. Sometimes almost 200km through the hill or mountain country. Wonderful.

Do you have any pets?: only a cat at home, and one horse that want to buy in Sept.

At 9:13am on August 30, 2009, Jackie Cochran said…: A few times when I was living in Uruguay we would drive up to Sao Paulo across the Brazilian countryside (I hope the roads are better, that was around 50 years ago.) I never got into the gaited breeds while down in SA, mostly rode on criollos in Chile and Uruguay. I did own a Puerto Rican Paso Fino mare up here though. They can be fun trail riding!
I hope you have many good trail rides on your new horse. It is so nice to ride a horse who is well trained.

I used to live in Uruguay over 40 years ago.
What breeds are your horses? Are they the easy gaited (Paso) type?
