A Bit About Me and my Horse(s)
I have ridden and owned horses most of my life ahd hope to still be riding when I am ancient. I am always looking for new trails to ride in South-western Ontario.

I am starting a new career teaching Marketing and Communictions for Equine Guelph, part of the University of Guelph. Anyone with their own business in the equine industry, please contact me, maybe we can help each other.

Hi Heather, I would definitely love to chat. Please contact me by regular email (personaltraining@equifitt.com ) or by phone. If I am training or away for a clinic (I'll be in Nova Scotia this weekend), just leave contact info for me to return your call/email.
Sincerely,
Heather Sansom, Equifitt.com Equestrian Fitness Training

Hi there.

My horse comes back from training at the end of June. The plan is for me to go work with her and the trainers twice a week, and I am also starting up lessons again...which I need very much! lol Last Thursday my horse spooked, but I stayed on. I hope today goes better :o)

I just noticed where you're from. I'm in St. Thomas.

Have you ever heard of the Kettle Creek riding club (or something like that)? I don't know much about them, but apparently there are miles of trails around here. They have a little area just around the corner from where my horse boards where they have built corrals amongst the trees next to the river. I've been told that the trails they use are very nice. Hopefully, once my horse comes back from training, I'll be able to round up a few friends so we can check them out.

Welcome Horsey Heather! I guess I've been with the site about 3 or 4 weeks and find it to be lots of fun and full of information, and connection with people of similar interests. Of course like with all horse people there is differences in opinions of how to, what to and when to...do whatever! lol So far everyone has been polite about it.
Have fun looking around!
Giddy-up Girl, Shirley
