I know this statement by Kittel is not true - EPONA TV have 120 mins of footage which includes the Odense tannoy system calling classes and the times - Kittel worked his horse mainly in rolkur for the majority of the time without release.

If so, at what point do you go from holding the clicker to riding without it (or is someone on the ground holding it?) A friend of mine used clicker training with dogs and found it to be an outstanding training method, but I don't anyone who has tried it with horses.
