I'm the proud owner of a 6 yr old grey percheron mare. Trying hard to work from home so I can spend more time with her. Currently trying to break into the "horse treat " business. I'm excited to find this site, it's local and canadian!!
Hey Stacy,
I love riding "Clyde" he is a really big boy, but I like having a substantial horse under me. LOL Wow you have 6 horses busy girl, and you have a percheron mare wonderful. I just love the draft horses personality they are so willing and forgiving. I take Clyde into the regular lessons he does w/t/c and jumps as well, cross rails and small verticals. Drafties can be very versatile. I hope you have a great time with your mare.
Hey Stacy, Can you add some pics of your horses. I don't know much about Rocky Mtn. Horses but the ones I have seen were very pretty.
sounds like the big one is your baby?! Do you call him Tiny? LOL

Hi Stacy, Anne Gage introduced me to Barnmice. I think I read that there are people from 149 countries joined on Barnmice. I might be confused on that. I have read so much the past couple of days on the internet and some is getting intermingled in my poor brain.
Thanks for the compliment to Cash. I did not name him. His registered name is He's Casually Dun. So the breeder called him Cass. But when she took him to the trainer, they thought she said Cash and it just never got corrected. I liked Cash better then Cass so I kept that name. I call him Cashious fondly but never Johnny Cash. We do joke that he is our only 'Cash' left. And he is the color of a shiney new penny.
The bugs are just starting to come out here. Cash was quite annoyed with them this evening when I was letting him do some lawn grazing.
How neat to have six equine in your family. I'm thrilled to have gotten my one. But I do tend to get attached to horses where I board that don't get much attention from their owners for one reason or another.
I'd love to hear more about your horses.
