This is a good time in the year to clean and inspect all your tack.
Take all your bridles, saddles, surcingles, halters, reins and other equipment you might have, a nice warm drink and your favorite saddle soap.
You might find some things that need mending.
Happy cleaning!

We will have one more clinic in Moab, UT, this year. I will be coming down December 30, and we'll start at 9:30. Dress warm and come early so you can properly warm up your horses.
Merry Christmas to all!

Fall is almost here and that does not mean that we stop riding. Fall and winter are a great time to think about getting your horse into training/schooling. So give us a call to reserve your spot now. 970-260-2660

Well it was time for the equine dentist to come out again.
It is always amazing to watch a dentist do his work on our horses. Most of them had no real problems and just needed maintenance work. My young gelding surprised us with a baby tooth that did not fall out and needed to be extracted. He his much happier now and his swelling is going down.
I highly recommend to use an equine dentist rather then just have your vet do it.

The weather is pretty good. I am going to pony Stewie off of Joya today. Let's see how that works out, but first she must give little Leany a lesson. She absolutely loves her.
So who is going out tomorrow? I am planing to go sometime late morning early afternoon.

Well, I guess I will catch up on my paperwork and redo my website. Planing lessons for the winter and the coming year. I want to make a lot of changes next year so if you have any ideas please e-mail me @ classicaldressage@earthlink.net.
On another note, Belle is still recuperating from her allergic reaction to the rhino shot. I am working her now in the round pen three times a week. I will wait to ride her till spring. It doesn't…
