I got off work early and at the barn by 5:30 p.m. for my 8:30 lesson!!

We were still getting ready by lesson time LOL.

We worked in the round pen for about 20 minutes, but first I groomed him and did some stretches on his legs.

He did great, a little stiff but much better.

I was having a hard time keeping him going slow again, he just wanted to go go go fast fast fast.

We did more circles at each end of the arena outdoors then when they others were doing lopes we went into the middle and did circles around the coach.

He would run out at his shoulders a lot, rider error mostly, I have to learn to use that outside supporting rein properly.

I had a very hard time getting off of Cooper to go indoors, my legs were giviing out on me and not working right and my back would not hold me up to get off, hmmmm.

We moved indoors when it started to get too dark and started to learn turning on the haunches.

My coach used Cooper for the demonstration as I was not in the saddle yet from coming indoors.

When I got back on we did good most of the time with the turning on the haunches, Cooper would think I was asking to go sideways, probably something I am doing wrong also.

I also was holding too much contact and not giving any release when we were doing our circles.

Had a very good night for the most part, my muscles were very sore with learning to use my legs also.

Cooper loved his treats at the end, beet pulp, carrots and apples, yum yum.
