Well I fell off the eating healthy wagon yesterday. We were only at the
horse show for the day which made it difficult to really have a
schedule. We left here at 11:30 and I had a bagel with lox and cream
cheese (light) around 10:30. By the time the afternoon performance got
over, it was almost 4:00 before we got to lunch. We ended up in an
italian place that some people we knew wanted to go to. Everything was
heavy cream and there was nothing that I would call "diet". At least my
husband and I split our meal. My daughter and son were splitting
Fettucini Alfredo which they said was so bad we sent it back. We did
have some drinks and a bottle of wine to celebrate my 4 year old's
winning his class.
After lunch/dinner, we walked the capitol for about 30 minutes. As we
had lots of time to kill before the evening show began. Of course, we
were late getting back to the show. My horse JC was the 3rd last class
of the night. He was reserve (2nd place) in his class and then I went
back to feed carrots. By the time we fed carrots and got home, it was
10:45 and I was starving so I dug into the only thing I could
find...tostidos and taco dip. I know not great. But, I am not going to
let it stop me. It was a bad day and I will get right back on schedule
today. I feel good that at least we made sure to walk.
It's back to the show tomorrow night for JC's championship, but we will
eat better because we are only going for one performance.
