AHAEC High Point Award

Bask N Coins+/ just racked up another award for the 2009 distance season. As members of the Arabian Horse Assciation of Eastern Canada (AHAEC) we qualify for their Year End High Point Awards. Well, Loosi has been named the Champion High Point Half-Arabian CTR/END horse. I pick up the trophy on Jan 23/10 at the AGM.

We did get turfed out of the AERC Regional Standing for North East Middleweight Division. I knew it was too good to last when our season ended 6 weeks before the close of the year and those in states in the far south of our Region had more rides to attend after I finished. However it was lovely to see our name in Tied 8th place in the November issue of Endurance News. This ranking was something I never thought I would see as the Middleweight division in the NE Region is the toughest out there with a high percentage of Team members for both Canada and the US and some really top riders and horses.

I think that this is the end of accolades for the 2009 season. I've already received Loosi's Legion of Supreme Honor plaque, and the OCTRA mileage bars. Still waiting on the ApHC Bronze Medallion but their AGM isn't until Feb.
