I just want to say that I love my barn owners!

I kept my horse with them for about 3 yrs then for whatever stupid reason, I took a 2 yr break...big mistake but we all learn from our mistakes right? Well I certainly did, they welcomed me back with open arms and my horse walked off the trailer and sighed at the sight of her, then nuzzled her and rested his big mug on her shoulder. So I have been back 'home' as I like to refer to my barn, for 6 months now, and still love it.

They are two very spetacular people. I never am uncomfortable going out there at all, yes there are rules, and I agree with those rules. The care our horses receive is second to none in our area and would rival other barns in more traditional 'horse country'. My horse is a reflection of health and happiness right now, that took a few months to come back after our arrival 'home' but he did!

So for all you barn owners out there that have great relationships with your boarders and are able to keep business as business and friendship as friendship...kudos to you!!! I applaud your efforts and diligence and hard work as I do know what it is like to run a barn (been there done that).

Leonie makes the extra effort - like for my lesson last sunday, before she left for an equine camping trip, she harrowed the arena for me so it looked 'neat'! She really didn't need to do that, its not like its messy!
