Hey bloggers,

Hope everyone had a great weekend and is getting excited to watch the Super Bowl tonight :) This week's blog is going to be dedicated to upcoming features, news and announcements pertaining to new products coming soon to Baker's. The first announcement is Baker's attended a trade show in Philadelphia last week called AETA; The American Equestrian Trade Association. This is an amazing trade show where we at Baker's have the opportunity of finding new products and retailers to feature products to you at our store in Markham, Ontario. At the trade show, we found some great products that we will soon be providing for you at Baker's. Before we get into the fun stuff, here is a website to the AETA for anyone who wants to read up on the trade show. http://www.aeta.us/

The first new product we will be carrying at Baker's are stylish belts from 'Clever with Leather.' These belts mimic the same features on bridles, and has exquisite stitching. These belts are totally equine styled and will complete your horse show appearance. A unique aspect to belts by Clever with Leather is the variety of buckles they come in. Their belts use the same clasps and buckles that are also found on bridles and other equine goods. This makes the belts very authentic to your equine equipment, and allows you to match your horse.  Here are a picture of one of their belts, as well as the link to the Clever with Leather website http://cleverwithleather.com/

The next product Baker's will be carrying are Walsh halters. These halters are made with the finest leather that is super soft and doesn't take long to break in. The soft leather prevents rubbing on your horses faces and gives them a very comfortable fit. Walsh halters are distinctive with their stitched detailing and classic appearance. Currently at Baker's, we carry Samshield helmets, but we will now be doing custom orders for the Create your Samshield; My Samshield helmet collection. These helmets feature Swarovski embedded stone trim in the colours: crystal, crystal-black, gold, light blue, pink and red. This adds a little something special to your helmet, and makes you stand out amongst other riders. If you like sparkles, than this helmet is perfect for you! The Samshield helmets provide optimal safety, comfort and are elegant. Check out the Samshield website for more images. http://www.samshield.com/

Another product Baker's will be carrying are Kentucky Eventing Boots. These are the newest x-country boots on the market for your horses, "combining science with horse sense to make a boot that protects your horse's legs without impeding their athleticism." Taken from the Kentucky website, their Eventing boots provide, "comfort, a superb fit, impact resistance, and practically make them a natural choice for today's equine athletes at all levels." Here is a picture of an eventer using the Kentucky Eventing boots on his horse on x-country. Also check out the Kentucky website for more images and information http://www.kentucky-horseshop.com/en/eventing-boots.html

Lastly, Baker's wants to announce that Asmar Equestrian's spring jacket called the 'Hunter Jacket,' will be a regular rain jacket without the fleece lining. Their jackets are great for every day riding and for horse shows, and their spring jacket will not disappoint you. Look out for this jacket as springtime approaches.

We hope everyone enjoys our upcoming products that will be found at Baker's. We are very excited about our new features, and we love providing you with the most up-to-date products.
