Blanket wearing on chest

I am having issue with my winter blankets wearing on there chest. I think i had the blankets too loose at first so I have tightened them up. Any suggestions on how to stop this? It has worn the hair off

Comment by Tiffany Seright on February 16, 2010 at 2:16pm: if its just in one small spot and the blanket is fitted properly, id suggest a shoulder guard. they are lycra/spandex material that is worn under the blanket to stop the rubbing. they are sometimes called horse pjs or sleezy wear. its a great option so that you arent investing in a whole new set of blankets, if the ones you have are fitting your horse.
