From ILEHC re urgent horse slaughter update in Illinois

"I
must tell you with great urgency that your assistance is once again
needed to ensure that the Illinois ban on horse slaughter remains in
place. Sadly, Illinois has once again become "ground zero" for the
pro-slaughter ranks who are determined to re-establish horse slaughter
within the United States.

Horse Slaughter Update: IL
State Representative Jim Sacia (R- Pecatonica) has once again
introduced legislation (HB 4812) to repeal the Illinois ban on horse
slaughter. The ILEHC stands in staunch opposition to this legislation,
and we ask our members and supporters to do so as well. Please go to - www.ilehc.org
