I cannot remember a time when I did not want a horse. Every birthday and every Christmas I would ask for a horse. When I was 46 I decided to take riding lessons for exercise and to get me back into contact with horses. One day while talking to my instructor I mentioned that I would someday like to have my own horse. She said I know the perfect horse for you. She took me to one of the stalls and pointed out a 15.2 hand four year old chestnut gelding Quarter horse. She told me his name was Whole Lotta Trouble, Trouble for short. When I heard his name I knew he was destined for me. It was love at first sight. He's nineteen now and I'm 60 but we are still fast friends. We've had lots of adventures together and hopefully have lots more to enjoy. In some ways hes like a big dog as he follows me all over the place when I'm at the barn and will lick my face if I let him. He always has a hello whinney for me when I come to the barn he loves to play tricks on me to and when I'm sad he gives me horsey hugs he throws his head over my sholder and pulls me into his body. Who could ask for more..
