I had a pug that was over weight. He was 33pound and very had to get the weight off.I got it off once and got down to 27 pounds, but it didn't last long. Mind you when you have 3 dogs it was hard to keep them from eating the other guys food. He seemed to be happy though. We had to put him down just last month as he lost bowel and bladder function. The Vet said there was nothing that could be done as he had nerve damage and spine problems which she said was no cure for. Miss the big guy alot. We also had to put his companion down too, she was a (15 yr old poodle cross) due to liver prblems she had for 3 years and the Vet said it was time to let her go , so they went to puppy heaven together. Sure miss them.
