Mission Statement

To provide Ontario’s developing equestrian athletes coaching and mentoring and to raise funds and awareness for Ontario’s equestrian athletes participating in the OHT program who compete as a Canadian at a CDI 3* or higher, Canadian Team Event or event approved by the OHT Board of Directors.

Ontario Has Talent keeps getting bigger and bigger. The first of the clinics, the Diane Creech clinic had a good turn out. The Tom Dvorak clinic ended with an even bigger turn out and it just snowballed from there. A high tea fundraiser and fashion show seem to get the stage and proved that this organization started by two dressage moms was going to be BIG and for all the right reasons!

The latest clinic held by Cara Whitham had 32 riders in total over a 3 days period including a ton of spectators. This clinic proved to be a big hit and set in motion the need to hold a symposium! Now I can't reveal any details as their still in the works. But its going to be MASSIVE and totally awesome of course! For now the organization has developed a silver and gold clinic series. The gold being a high level judge or Olympian and the silver being a highly regarded and accomplished rider. Now there is a criteria for these clinics..

Eligibility of who can ride in the 'Ontario Has Talent Gold Clinic Series'

I was there representing THE EDGE and it was so wonderful meeting all of the riders, and Gabriele and seeing Julie.  What a great location to host this and we can't wait to attend more.  Anyone else have great events, contact us at www.theedgeup.ca
