Patty Fairchild's Ragtime made this world change it's view of miniature horses.

Her precedent setting case proved her Miniature Horse, Ragtime was a companion animal as opposed to a "beast of burden". This case went international and is now a case study for law schools. After a 3 year case, in 1989 it changed California law. Because of this case, Patty is a professional witness proving that Miniature Horses are companion animals as opposed to their large equine ancestors, which are still considered "beasts of burden". Every case she was involved in, the defendant succeeded and won their case.

Patty was the Associate Producer for the movie, "The Adventures of Ragtime", that my Miniature Horse, Ragtime and my Sheltie, Taylor starred in, along with Shelley Long, Jay Thomas, Justin Cooper ("Liar Liar"), and Perry King. I have also trained all animals from rats, reptiles, to large cats for the movie and TV industry. She has worked on various sitcoms and movies.
