Have you got an incredible Rags to Riches horse story to share?

I am a long time horse sport author, journalist and former competitor. I am putting together an ebook about horses, ponies, donkeys and mules who have gone from rags to riches. I want stories that will tug at the heart strings, and bring tears to the eyes. I want stories about animals who were no longer winners, no longer considered useful, and the no hopers who, by a twist of luck and fate, were saved at the last minute and found love, life and a new career with caring owners.

I want readers to share your trials and tribulations. I want them to see how you dealt with the challenges of saving and transforming the underfed racehorse left in a field to die into an eventer, how you took a frightened ex trail horse from the kill pen, and turned him into the perfect backyard schoolmaster for your kids. How that skinny, wild eyed pony that you bought for $100.00 at the auction, turned out to be the unbeatable show hunter, and how the donkey you saved turned out to be a best friend to your old hunter as their golden years approached.

I hope that we can create awareness about the fate of unwanted donkeys, horses and ponies through this book. It may also be made into a print book.
