For all of the Warmblood mare owners out there who are looking or have chosen a mate for their horse and are planning to Register the foal with the Stallions Registry i.e. Holsteiner, Canadian Warmblood etc, please do your homework. This will save you alot of time and effort.

I finally have my horse's papers (he is now 1 year old) after extensive persuit with stallion owner and the Breed Registry. Due to lack of committment on the owners part and payment and submission of necessary breeding reports that are required by the Registry it appeared that I was not going to get my horse Registered.

My advise is before you pay $$$$ to Stallion owners and plan on having a Registered foal, makes sure that everything you want is stated in the Breeders Contract and contact the Registry for an update on the Breeders status with them.
