The "ahaa" moment for me and Jack

So I've been working with this Quarter Horse gelding that came into the Western Riding school where I work a couple of months ago. He's a nice horse just hasn't had any real training. So for the last sixty days we have been working a lot on flexion, bend, moving forward, moving off my leg, just getting him more broke in the face etc.

So I just had to share this because it was so cool what happened today... we've been starting to introduce lateral work and today my little man just did the sweetest two track and was so relaxed and lovin' it that we blended it right into a side pass.

You guys know what I'm talking about it was one of those in the zone moments, he was happy, relaxed, in the bridle and doing it effortlessly!

It was one of those really sweet "ahaa" moments where the whole unity thing happened and I just loved it and wanted to share!
