The Horse In History: We've Reached One Year!

Hello Everyone,

Well, I've reached the one year point with my blog! I can't believe that time has gone so quickly, and I'd like to thank all of you for reading each week. It's wonderful to know that people are enjoying the blog.

Since I think it will be difficult to continue to come up with multiple events for each week without repeating those I've focused on last year, I will be ending the "Horse in History" blog - but don't worry, there's another blog in the works! I'll be interviewing a different figure from the horse world each week, and will be posting the interviews here. There will be no interview this week, but I'm hoping that I'll have the first interview available for you soon. In the meantime, if anyone has any suggestions of people for me to interview, please feel free to message me or post them here. I'm compiling a list of trainers, breeders and riders to interview, and while I can't guarantee that I'll be able to interview all of them, I will certainly give it a shot!

Thank you to everyone who has been reading my blog in the past year. I've loved reading your comments and am looking forward to getting the new blog up and going!

- Paige

PS - I figured I would share a picture of my horse, Whisper, out enjoying the wonderful weather we've had. After all, doesn't every blog post need a horse picture? I think so.

I'll miss your history lessons. It was nice to see the pictures of the great horses of years gone by.
