Whoot!! Whoot!! We've come so far since we bought the campground in 2011 and have accomplished so much. Let's look at a recap of things gone by:

2011

The Martin family bought True West
Made Stall walls higher to prevent horses from playing with the tack
Lighting outside the restrooms
Rebuilt the outer portion of the deck outside on the common area
Cleaned up the front gardens
Every site now has a fire pit and a picnic table
More furniture and sleeping options in the Marshal Suite
Brought in a camper to rent as additional lodging option
Finished the year of by making the top 3 of 5-star campgrounds in the US
Made the Marshal Suite "homier" by adding more decor
Bought two new trail horses so we could bring our guests out on the trails
Went from 126 friends on FB to 330.

2012

Replaced all the windows in the main building (much warmer in the Suite now!)
Rebuilt the ramp to the manure dump wagon
Replaced all the hitching rails in the front of the building
Planted flowers
Bought a 7-horse stock trailer we like to call "The True West Courtesy Shuttle"
Solar lighting on all the water/electric poles to help see them at night
Fixed the "pits" in the stall floors (your horses don't look short anymore!)
Emergency light inside the restrooms
Built benches for the shower area
Replaced all the water and electric for sites 17-30
Brought in LOTS AND LOTS of unique gifts into the Mercantile
Made the top 3 in 5-Star campgrounds across the country 2nd year in a row
Blessed with the birth of Bogo
Went from 330 friends on FB to 728

2013

Working on finishing the cabin out back. Will be christened "the Miner's Shack"
Added many new and unique events to our calendar
Added even MORE unique and great gifts to the Mercantile.

This is our third year as new owners and we have only just begun the season - but it's already proven to be a good start. We feel honored to have met so many great people and made so many new friends. We appreciate all our friends on FB and those who have also liked our page -  and for some of you, our guests which we hope will return again, and again, and again. We strive to make True West the best place to camp and will continue to improve as long as we are here. We look forward to serving you in 2013.
