Hi Jay Thanks for the welcome. Since you work with horses&health I would like to ask you a question or a referral if possible. I went to visit a rental stable and was surprised with a number of horses that had multiple wounds from fly bites, those inflicted by novice riders to bites from other horses when permited in an open area. Can one use aloe vera plant on those wounds and perhaps silver based gels to facilitate healing and prevent infections. Could you also comment on other agents that are used by humans that could also be used on horses? Thanks, [I was a former medical personel]
Thanks for the welcome, Jay! WE have developed a DVD, How to make a Rope Halter, to fund raise for HETI (Horses in Education and Therapy International), formerly FRDI (Riding for the Disabled International). The DVD can be purchased/downloaded at
Dear Jay, Thanks for making me feel welcomed. I don't know to much about Barnmice, but, totally impressed. Petey Pants is on my Facebook and he brought it to my attention. Your land and daughter, I presume is beautiful. I love all horses and work with "Coalition to Ban Horse Drawn Carriages in NYC. Hopefully, they will be banned soon. When I say work with it is volunteer work etc. I have 5 acres here in Odessa, FL . It's near Tampa. I have a beautiful quarter/appoloosa mare and she is the best. I will visit you again after, I familirize myself with the site. Thanks and God Bless. Shirley Zutes

Thanks Jay,
I am interested in telling people about my TeleRein - a tool that shows coaches what pressure a rider is putting on their reins/horse's mouth.
do look at my website: telerein.co.nz
I think all riders who care about their horses comfort will find it interesting and most helpful.
