Good for you! Dressage will help your jumping should you change back--but I'm guessing you know that. Your pony is adorable.

My first dressage horse was from Alberta. He came down from that big farm in Canada. I can't remember the name. They have huge jumper shows there. Spruce Meadows. i remembered. He was supposed to be a jumper but made a better dressage horse. Although I jumped him and he was awesome. I think someone pushed him to quickly.

Thank you, which one?

Yes, Eddie is a dressage horse, although we don't compete much anymore (no special reason, guess I'd rather spend the money on clinics). I see from your pictures you also ride dressage. Nice position!

Thank you! He's a Hanoverian, and 18 years old. I've had him since he was 2. He's a sweetie and a flirt. Loves people and makes friends wherever he goes.

Hi Jenna -

There is a complete list of Equine Canada sanctioned competitions on the OEF website:
http://www.horse.on.ca/competitions/current_registered_competitions_.html

I hope this helps!

Hi Jenna!
I teach! Whereabouts are you in Ontario? I'm in the Newmarket area :)

Thats really neat Jenna. :) How long have you been doing dressage? I am around 14 years old too and I started at the end of grade 4. That's to bad about Diamond...my pony looks 15hh but is actually 14hh(sometimes he is measured less-without shoes i think). What's your new gelding's name? Is he a pony?
Dressage canada has a page with a directory of trainers (probably in your area).

good luck this summer:)

I've gone through the levels faster than expected
