Hey Jennifer, I thought you rode out at the Murphy's. I bought my new horse out there in August of 2006. His name was Toby then and he was owned by James Keough. My vet, Dr. Wharton, hooked me up with Michelle Zimmer after I had six horses vetted that did not pass. I think she felt sorry for me. I met with Michelle and told her what I was looking for and she thought Toby would be a good fit. I went and tried him a few times and fell in love. Luckily, he passed the pre-purchase with flying colors. His show name is now Chill Town and his barn name is Boogie, which fits him, as he can be quite the brat. I love him and all his personality quirks, so I wouldn't have it any other way. I board him out at Champagne Run, where he lives the life of luxury.
Thanks, May is too unpredictable at the KHP, heading to Brownland and then to KHP for the rest of the summer shows. Have to pick and choose if I'm going to show 2 this summer. See you then!
This should be fun! At the moment, I'm not planning on doing the May shows.. but I should see you in July for sure at Robbie's show.. I'll be doing the smaller stuff getting this pretty mare some mileage so I can get her sold!!! If you know anyone... she'll make a great Children's or Adult amateur hunter!!
No I dont want to go pro... I just want to work with horses all day long doing something! I want to be able to show as an amateur though! Have any ideas?
George Morris Clinic is at Shadow Wynde. Peabody Fox is putting it on. It is the week after we go to RMI in April. I am excited even though GM will probably make me cry....but it will be a really good tune up for KY Spring and Country Heir. Yeah I found a real job at Enterprise but it is just a job that pays for my ponies. I really want to find something horse related but I think that will eventually lead me down into the Lexington area...and I want to wait a year or two before I make a move...that is if I can hold out! I am 100% psychotic due to my horses.
we are going to go to champagne run this weekend for a nice little "warm up" and then do Frankie's A Show at Roberts Arena the last weekend of March. Then on to RMI in Tennesse, George Morris Clinic, Kentucky Spring, etc....
Hi Jennifer,
My Mom and I think this is a very neat thing. Thanks for thinking of the members and we look forward to more fun and information.

That sounds like alot of fun! Last year stunk I remember all the rain I rode in that. Our tent flooded and we had to dig a trench. All the stalls were flooded. Their was about 2 to 3 inches of water. Well hopefully it won't rain.
