Hi Jennifer,
This is yet another thought - If you want to add upcoming events, you can leave the calendar in place in your Barnmice Box and upload specific calendars and dates directly from your computer to your discussion box. Then your members can refer back and forth. If you like that idea, let me know. Also, pls wait until I get your filtering sorted out tomorrow, if that's ok. Oh by the way, if you want to, you can send out your announcement directly to your KHJA address book by clicking on "Share" then forwarding to your email, then forwarding again. That will direct members right to the announcement on your group page.
It's supposed to go in the discussion area, but for some reason it's not filtering there, so I have to check that out tomorrow. The Barnmice box is really for more permanent stuff. And don't worry at all, I am delighted to help! Ok - off to the calendar now!
Thanks Jennifer, He's my very big, very good boy! Ok, I've substituted your post for my initial quote until I look into the filtering further. Now it's on to the calendar. Be right back!
p.s. I've left the post on the home page, as I thought it might be of interest to people who are not currently in your group. Hope that's ok.
Hi Jennifer, It should be filtering right onto the group page, so I will try something different, then leave a message for our site network to see if they are having a glitch. I will check the calendar you chose afterwards, as there is one regular calendar and one countdown calendar, I believe. This will take me about 10 minutes...
Hi Jennifer,
You can put up all of your announcements, discussions and blogs where it says Start a Discussion. I put up a brief blog/discussion when I joined. When you put info up there, people can comment or ask you questions and it turns into a discussion wall. If you go to my page, I have used my Barnmice Box to add a weather widget from the widget page. I think there is also a calendar, which might be a very interesting widget for you to add. You can then cut and paste your announcement into the discussion area. I hope this is helpful, if not, please feel free to contact me at any time. Many thanks!. p.s. We had so much snow here that this morning I was actually shoveling snow off the roof of my van with a plastic shovel and throwing pots full of hot water at the windows to melt the ice!!
Wow Jennifer, is that you? Perfect partnership!
p.s. If you have the chance, read Unbridled and tell me if it's anything like the jumper stable where you ride. I must say, I recognize some of the characters from some dressage stables I've been in.....
