A Bit About Me and my Horse(s): My name is Carissa Blaauwendraat and I have owned 3 horses in the past.
Shannon - My first pony was 12.3 Newfoundland Welsh Quarter Horse Cross.
Buddy - My second horse was a 15.3 full Thoroughbred, off the track.
Dodger - My third was a Welsh, mixed breed. He was just turning 3 when I got him, and I started his under saddle training.
I do not own them anymore. Shannon is well up in her age now and is teaching kids exactly what she taught me as a youngster, Buddy has moved on t an owner who is just loving him as I did, and Dodger is still at the barn I ride at being used for walk-trot lessons.
I'm still riding but don't own any horses at this time, but am always willing to share my knowledge.
