A Bit About Me and my Horse(s)
As a Horse Wellness specialist - building on my previous horse experience - I have been working with horses in the US and Germany since 2007. My topics are Equine Bodywork, creating suppleness & Gymnasticizing, as well as the German Cavalry Training Methods.
I am the co-author of Jim Masterson's book "Beyond Horse Massage", and have translated several equine books into English, among others the H. Dv. 12 (German Cavalry Training Manual).
Another passion is grooming and everything horse care.
I have presented at the Equine Affaire, the Midwest Horse Fair, the Illinois Horse Fair, the Indiana Horse Fair and other events.

Building Strength & Confidence on the Trail

As a mother of three (and grandmother, too) I know how important it is to build strength and confidence in your children. When my kids grew up in Germany, there were no ipods or tablets, and 'playing' meant running outside and getting knocked around a bit.

Today, my kids are strong and confident adults, who learned to ride a bike, swim, climb a tree, build sand castles, balance on climbing beams, build wood huts on 'adventure playgrounds', spend a (scary) night sleeping in their tree…

I have always loved to groom horses. There is just something wonderful about feeling that you are doing something good, right here and now, for the horse in question - whether your own or any horse for that matter.
