Incredible video by the CBC of Pearl, a badly neglected horse who has had surgery to repair a gaping, infected hole in the middle of her face.

Sad. But happy ending! The thing I don't get though is she is neglected but her condition (besides her face) and her foal to, is fine! I am confused!
