Neck rope, too high on neck.  Very tense/hollow for sure.

Not being much accomplished in such things, and not knowing how the horse moves normally with bridle or even without rider, I would guess it could be the neck rope, which is difficult to see but might be a bit high on the neck?

great vid, awesome example of the horse rider relationship that can be achieved.  one question though: why does the horse seem to have very little extension or bend?  not up underneath him, "out the back door".  he seems very stiff to me.  just an observation, perhaps it's the breed?  I certainly could not do that, and I am not meaning to offend anyone.  perhaps someone can explain!

Gee, the horse kept his nose IFV the whole ride, and did you notice at the end, he was licking his lips and he had no bit in his mouth but still he gave a jaw flexion, tongue mobilized.
