Someone has put some catchy music together with a kid who knows little about how to relate to horses in an attempt to make a funny video all at the expense of the horse. The author seems to view horses as objects without sentient consciousness. This is a common way to view horses and it is tragic for the horse, not to mention dangerous for the rider.

I must say that it is very interesting that from the comments it seems some people watched a different video. At one point, the kid went off the pony with his foot stuck in the stirrups and the pony took off, dragging the kid on the ground. The video was conveniently stopped and restarted after they rescued the kid. At another point, the pony walks right over the top of the kid and fortunately didn't step on a little hand. If you can watch this and say it wasn't dangerous than you didn't watch the same video I watched. Just because both survived and no one was badly hurt doesn't make it a good learning or not dangerous; it just makes both the kid and the pony lucky.........this time.......

Don't blame the pony or the kid. The pony got away with the first buck and then decided it was fun and continued on. Nobody stopped him. He looks like a great pony to me. He needs a more experienced rider who will not let him get away with things. This child has not been taught properly either. BLAME THE ADULTS in this equation.

This borders on neglect....Good thing the kid rolls like a tumble-weed. A couple places it looks like the pony is stepping on him or comes to darn close. This is more like bucking bronc lessons. Kids learn foot-ball too but this pony weighs alot to be falling on the little human.

I so agree with yu Jessica! The adult needs to learn horsemanship; the child already has the instinct. So glad he or the pony was not hurt.

Where were the adults in the situation?? Why did this person continue recording?
Funny the first few times... then way too far and increasingly dangerous!

At first, the video was quite funny. The child seemed quite relaxed and confident and the pony seemed to think it was a joke. He seemed to sort of carefully but purposefully deposit the kid on the ground. I don't think the pony is in pain (although I would have him checked out), I think he's a pony. Some are saints and some are quite devious, but I'd say it's more often the latter. I certainly wouldn't keep this pony in my school. He needs what we call a 'pony squasher' (a big kid that can stay on and teach him that that behaviour is not going to work), or perhaps he needs a new line of work.

This is disgusting and dangerous and unfair on both the child and pony ! A very stupid adult is to blame who sghould never be allowed near equines . This pony is reacting either to pain or fear of pain and has learnt to buck the wee boy off .Do they need to see him badly injured to stop!!! The pony should be checked all over by an osteopath and given suitable treatment .Then and only then the boy should work on the ground establishing a relationship with his pony so the animal wants to be with and work with him .I bet this pony is not easy to catch .As Pat Parelli says when you take off the saddle and bridle the only thing left is the truth .I bet the truth is this pony doea not like the little boy ! i can ride my own Arab mare with no saddle and bridle .The only thing this teaches the boy is how to mistreat horses it makes me furious .

Wow get this kid to a rodeo! He's got wild pony races to win! My nasty pony drug me around for 2yrs and reared over backwards at the whipper in gate at nearly every show and I survived. That pony taught me sooo much and gave me a tonne of confidence.

STUPID!!!!!! At the beginning the child seemed confident and fairly relaxed and happy. By the end he has a very unhappy and re-signed look. Give the kid a break, and let him ride a pony he can have fun on, and perhaps be able to enjoy riding for many years to come. About half way through when the pony bucked him off and he got caught up in the saddle (which they conveniently cut short) I would have said that's it- it's not worth the risk to keep riding this pony. This pony belongs in a circus with a monkey on his back - he's clever enough to learn lots of tricks......he just doesn't want to be ridden.
