Both. No Liniment and don't sweat the back where the saddle goes.

But "a sweat" treatment doesn't necessarily require liniment.  Is liniment the problem?  Or is making the horse's back sweat the problem?

This is an interesting video, Barb. Thanks for sharing. :) I never really thought about putting liniment on the back of a sore horse, but it does make sense what Paul is saying. Good to be educated before the situation arises.
