How does the hoof absorb shock?
We expect the hoof to do a lot of work. Understanding how the hoof absorbs shock is helpful in understanding injury prevention as well as laminitis prevention. This video is actually a pretty cool inside look at the hoof, filmed at the Winter Equestrian Festival in Wellington Florida in 2015.
