Lukas, The World's Smartest Horse in Action

Ex-racehorse Lukas has used his considerable brain power to secure an official Guinness World Record. "Most numbers correctly identified by a horse in one minute."
The 17-year-old met all the guidelines and identified 19 numbers.

He is now an international equine celebrity and billed as the world's smartest horse.
"For us, our goal has never been for personal recognition - what we're hoping to show is that animals are intelligent, so that they'll be treated better," Murdock says.

Wonderful story and wonderful that Karen and Lukas are raising awareness for understanding horses. I think most horses are just as smart as Lukas, but his opportunity for education is obviously greatly enhanced. The message is not that he is the smartest, but all animals and people have a much greater potential, given love, care, and a good education.
