This was a recent re-enactment of the original journey taken by the anchor manufactured for the Titanic in 1911. The original anchor was made in Netherton then hauled by 20 shire horses to the railway in Dudley. This time, as part of a television special, the 20 shire horses hauled the anchor in reverse, from Dudley to Netherton. The horses dragged the anchor part way with the help of a very large tractor. Eventually, the anchor became unbalanced and the tractor took over and completed the journey.
