edit to add.......I know that I am constantly riding with my head down.......trying to watch the bit! And also, of course......we are cantering on the wrong lead LOL!!!!

so although the video isn't very good......and at this point, I didn't have the bit set up properly, this was actually a very nice ride for Tango and I. She has always been very mouthy with previous bits, and is behaving that way with this one, I expect that she will soon be much more comfortable. My mistake today was having the headstall and reins set up in the hooks of the bit, but not using a chin/curb strap. This is why the headstall was gapping and the bit was moving around so much. I am now using a chin strap and will be putting the reins back in the hooks today. All in all, I am quite pleased with this bit!
