Wild ponies in the New Forest.

I came across this Shetland mare and foal whilst visiting the New Forest. I managed to get up close enough to take this video of the mare suckling her foal. I couldn't resist such a cute moment.

Comment by Cat on May 8, 2009 at 1:03pm: Thanks, I was fairly lucky as they were close to the road, though I did have to creep up very slowly and zoom in the rest of the way. It was a really warm day too, so a lot of the ponies were grazing and most of the foals were flat out fast asleep.
