Do you see God when you work with your horses?

Do you see God when you are working with your horses?? Does God revel himself in any way to you?? Got any stories??
I know that when I am out riding or even just brusing my horses, I see God in everything. God made my horses ( and all of my other animals!!), He makes the pastures green and the danilions grow, He made the wood the makes up my barn and fences, God is everywhere! Also, I see God when my horse walks up to me a this sudden peace falls over me. God is truely amazing!!!

I always see God when I look at my horses grazing out i n the pasture, when the are contented at feeding time, and just when I look deep into their eyes! Yes, I see God everywhere and I especially feel His peace when I am out brushing them, my time to relax! I feel like my barn is my santuary!!

Wow in all my years as a Christian and many more years in horses this is the first Christian horse group I have come across.
I have a short story to share. Gave my life to Christ in 93, and then for many years struggled with being a Christian and riding and competing seriously was a conflict of sorts.
But then one day about 6 years ago when things were really tough God showed me that each and every time I am with my horse or any horse I have worshiping HIM. And since that day I feel free and blessed with the gift God granted me to trust me with his great creation the Horse.

I see the Bible in action every time I work with a horse. We go out, the horse doesn't know where we are going, what we are doing or the results but he/she TRUSTS us to take care of them. The horse depends on us to care for it's daily needs. The horse responds to us just as we should respond to our Master. When God told us to have dominion, I believe we are to reflect to that horse a loving Master just as Christ is to us.

When I lay a horse down, that horse will likely show me his throat it is at that time the horse is literally laying it's life at my feet. I cry to think this is an exact metaphor of how we are to be with OUR Master. Only GOD can put the servant into the horse. It is our job to bring it out.

I love the Lord and his best creation of all (and by me the most beautiful and treasured creature!:]), the Horse! I have asked the lord to 'live in me' and as he accepts u feel a lovely feeling and now I am never afraid of anything! :)

I am so thankful to find your group this morning. I am a new member to Barnmice but an old sister in Christ and thankful to be able to share that today with other believers and most especially horse lovers. God has given many wonderful testimonials of His great love for us, but one very special gift is having business in the horse community. I began only four short years ago but already I have been privileged to see how long his arm is in making it happen, something that I could never humanly done on my own.
