Equestrian Charlie Weaver passed away Monday, June 7, due to complications from a riding accident he suffered while schooling a horse on Feb. 12 in Wellington, Fla.

He had sustained a neck fracture.

Weaver was a highly respected competitor in the hunter rings for more than 30 years and was considered by many to be the consummate horseman.  He was inducted into the National Show Hunter Hall of Fame and also served on their Board of Directors.
