What I like about my hoof trimmer is that he is knowledgeable and patient with my horse and me. My horse apparently used to be naughty and not foot happy before this farrier (when he was shod), now he has great rock crushing barefeet and behaves well. He has also been patient in educating me on barefoot care including the best nutrition and conditioning for my horse's feet. A horse with healthy feet is a happier horse. I get a healthy horse, hoof trimmer gets a happy customer.

Hey Barney: The what to expect in a farrier has some stutters in it. Don't forget I am expecting a video between you and one of the barefoot horse trimmers. That would be a dandy. See you soon! Gail.

Do you recommend that farriers be a member of the Ontario Farrier's Association or other provincial farrier assocations (or The American Farrier Association)?
Is this a sign that the farrier is up to date with current educational news and advancements?
