Hi,
My first horse was a blue eyed paint/appendix from S.D.
Diamond was the my first horse ,pasted 4 yrs ago at the age of 28..Had him since he was 4 yrs old . I bought him rail thin, whip marks & sores all over..
when I saw him,we looked at each other & just new it was forever,Diamond never failed me even protected me/us from attacking dobermans,& a 12 point buck, job well done.
Diamond is dearly missed.
Paints rule...
Thanks,
JJ.
Hi Briana,
Loving the pic of the horse in your profile! Please post some pics of your Sempatico baby if you have a chance - he throws really lovely stock :-)
Are there many Akhal-Teke horses in the US? - they are still very rare in the UK. The only one I've seen here is a stallion that competes in Endurance & was a gift to the Queen of England who then placed him with an endurance rider to train.
There was an amazing Akhal stallion that licensed with one of the European warmblood stud books last year so I'm sure we will see some interesting crosses now.
