The Ontario Equestrian Federation (OEF) is seeking items for the 2010 OEF Live & Silent Auctions.  Once again the auctions will be taking place during the OEF Annual Banquet on Saturday October 23, 2010 at the Delta Meadowvale Resort & Conference Centre in Mississauga, ON.

Over the years, the auctions have been a tremendous success! In an effort to help the OEF raise money for the OEF Youth Bursary Fund, we are proud to state that all proceeds raised go directly to this fund. The OEF Youth Bursary Program offers a minimum of five $1,000 bursaries per year to junior members to help them achieve their equestrian goals. The recipients are awarded the bursaries based on their current involvement with horses and their future goals, as well as letters of recommendation from their respective coaches. Family resources and academic achievements are also considered. These bursaries can be used towards riding lessons, clinics, competition fees, continuing education, or other activities that will assist the recipients in reaching their equestrian objectives.

Last year the auctions were a phenomenal success and raised enough money to grant thirteen junior members with bursaries. The bar has been raised and we are looking to top this number, but we can’t do it without your help. Any donation you would like to make would help us in our effort to exceed this goal.
