POKER TOURNAMENT& CHARITY BENEFIT


FOR CHILDREN IN NEED AROUND THE WORLD


(Sunday, March 13, 2011 – 6:30 PM to Midnight)


 WHO:  Event Chair Margie Engle, an Olympic medalist and 10-time AGA Rider of the Year, and Step By Step Foundation’s President Liliane Stransky, will host the "All In For Charity 2011" poker tournament and charity benefit dinner.  Olympians Chris Kappler, Jimmy and Danielle Torano,  and Grand Prix veterans Charlie Jayne, Hardin Towell,Georgina Bloomberg, Hillary Dobbs, and Stransky Mission Farms' Hector Florentino, trainers including Missy Clark, John Brennan, Jack Towell and top hunter riders incluiding Liza Towell Boyd and Sarah Ward, international course designers Olaf Peterson and Anthony D'Ambrosio, and ESP’s CEO Mark Bellissimo, are among the guests invited to tables for this fun filled benefit and night of gaming.


WHAT: Step By Step Foundation’s 2nd annual benefit to help raise funds for children in need around the world.  The transformation into a fun-filled casino will take place in The Hospitality Tent, overlooking the Palm Beach International Equestrian Center’s international arena. General admission will include a catered buffet dinner and a seat at the tables for roulette, craps, poker, Three Card Draw, Black Jack, and other games of chance. There will be dancing and a dj, exclusive art,
equestrian merchandise, celebrity memorabilia, and prizes awarded throughout the night.  



"The equestrian community is an international one, and we hope they once again come out en force once again to support children from all countries who need our assistance, especially children with disabilities," stated Engle, who will once again Chair the event. 


"We hosted this event last year, a week after the devastating earthquake in Haiti that caused countless deaths and injuries. Thanks to our guests, including top riders, trainers, owners and visitors from the Winter Equestrian Festival, we were able to raise funds to assist with in Haitian
relief efforts and also to complete construction of the Tipa Tipa School in Lahaie. The elementary school, which opened in October 2010, now gives 510 children a chance for a proper education," explained Stransky, who owns Stransky's Mission Farm and also the new Le Club Wellington show stables. "My dream is to help as many underprivileged children globally as possible.  They need our help and this is one fun way we can raise funds and awareness.  And you can bet on it, every little bit, every single dollar, will go to good use."

TICKETS:  Guests may purchase tickets and also tables in advance, or at the door the night of the event.  Donations and
sponsorship welcome at all times.
