USET Foundation Thanks Supporters for Helping Exceed Giving Day Fundraising Goal

Gladstone, NJ – The USET Foundation Giving Day is a special initiative organized by the USET Foundation to rally support for U.S. equestrian athletes and programs at US Equestrian (USEF). It was held on April 17, strategically timed 100 days out from the Paris 2024 Olympic Games. The day symbolized the journey toward excellence in equestrian sports on the pathway to Paris. Fans, athletes, supporters, USEF, and USET Foundation competition partners and media partners all helped promote Giving Day. With the USET Foundation Board of Trustees and National Advisory Committee matching all gifts dollar for dollar, the USET Foundation Giving Day raised more than $100,000.

“Those who are passionate about equestrian sport and the success of U.S. teams internationally really showed up on Giving Day, and we are so thankful for their support,” said USET Foundation Executive Director Bonnie Jenkins. “This will make a meaningful impact for our teams heading to the Olympic and Paralympic Games and directly support the training, development, and competition efforts of U.S. equestrian athletes.”

In a unique situation, Giving Day was held 100 days before the start of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, it has been 100 years since the last Olympic Games in Paris, and more than $100,000 was raised through donations that ranged from $10 to $10,000.

Giving Day embodied the spirit of the equestrian community as well as their generosity, uniting stakeholders of all kinds behind a common goal of empowering American riders to shine on the global equestrian stage.
