I 'ride' one of my uncles cows once in a while, but it is more just sitting on her back while she roams around the yard. But training a cow to jump! Amazing!! Good job to her! And this just proves that cows are smarter than they are given credit for!

Comment by Marlene Thoms on April 7, 2011 at 9:51pm: Even if her parents can't see their way to getting a horse for her, surely someone has a horse they would feel confident letting her ride. I got my start that way in horseriding, all I could afford were shoes for the horse I rode.I also managed to break my parents down on owning a dog by walking all the neighbors dogs and worked for a vet till he gave me one of the pups from his dog (with my parents permission of course), and let me ride his horse.
