Thanks! The very first picture of the fella on the horse is Andy, the guy that trained Cash for riding.

The large horse is the horse that I got so attached to as a rescue horse that had been emotionally abused. Our relationship changed me forever. Have I told you this story before? Fred is a large Tennessee Walker. Boy was he awesome when he moved. I'd let him go in the indoor arena and he'd run arouind, snorting and snorting. For a few months except for when I got him out he was stuck in a stall. Yet, when I'd get him out, he'd be good while I walked him to the indoor and unlatched his lead and then he was off to move that big body of his around. Our story is still very emotional for me. He took a large chunk of my heart that will always be his. Very different then my partnership with Cash.

The first horse I had was a shorter broader grade QH. I only have one or two pictures of her. My family never came to watch us ride so no pics. At least they let me take the car 4 miles so I could get out to see her and ride. We had a lane that led to the woods and then we rode in the pasture often. There was a dirt road that we went on a couple times but I quit riding on any roads after she ran to the middle of a paved road and stopped in the middle of the road while a fella driving a car sped past about 45-50 mph. The guy never even slowed down....just went swooshing past. Very scarey!

I did post another current video of Cash & I on YOUTube if youi want to see. It's still pretty slow but better. And I'm feeling a bit braver and more secure. Got my crop out to let him know I'm serious about moving forward. Not using it much but a couple of times I've barely tapped him & it does get him going. '

Is that the first horse you had, Fred is the name on the second picture. He was huge!!
