Change through Chance welcomes Stacy Westfall and the amazing Roxy to our special fundraising event, "An Afternoon with Ohio's Own Stacy Westfall."

At the event Stacy Westfall will give two one-hour-long presentations centered on the themes of emotional control of your horse, learning to read your horse’s body language and bridleless riding. Stacy is famous for her bridleless, bareback freestyle reining performances on Roxy, a black Quarter Horse mare. Together they won the 2006 All American Quarter Horse Congress Freestyle Reining Championship. Their amazing performance, captured on video, has been watched by over a million viewers online.

Roxy will be joining Stacy at the Change through Chance event.

Stacy was a featured guest on the Ellen DeGeneres Show in March 2008, as a result of Ellen seeing the Bareback Bridleless video clip.

Stacy has also won the prestigious “Road to the Horse” (she was the first women invited to compete) and numerous other championships. She is a featured speaker at horse expos around the country and an expert contributor to horse publications. Her “Westfall Horsemanship” training series, which is available on DVD, gives instructions for basic groundwork, starting a young horse, becoming a better rider, and more. Along with Stacy Westfall, the afternoon will feature the nationally ranked16-Girl Cowgirl Express Drill Team. Change through Chance’s therapeutic riding students will give a riding demonstration, and there will be both live and silent auctions with many donated items up for bid. The auction will include an exclusive 20th anniversary Celebration Breyer Horse sculpture of Roxy.

Between sessions, Stacy will talk personally with fans. She’ll also autograph the special, limited edition poster featuring photographs of Stacy, Roxy and Change through Chance students. The poster will be available at the event for $10.

Following the event, Sponsors and VIP ticket holders will be invited to an exclusive Chuckwagon Barbeque with Stacy Westfall. VIP Tickets - $100.
