Attn – Vets, Farriers, Avid Horse Owners – Clinic on trimming is almost full! (audit spaces are still avail) …So if you curious interested to learn / improve a craft (we use cadaver legs and digital x-rays to teach each horses unique point of balance)...now would be the time to reserve your space! Saturday October 22nd: Cadaver Day
Xray Evaluation of Cadaver Feet
Evaluation and discussion on reading the hoof capsule
Utilize Xray to confirm (or disprove!) evaluation of foot-trimming guidelines, application and theory
Re-Xray feet to determine effectiveness of trim approach and application
Hands-On Trimming and Dissection Techniques
Working with tools on cadaver feet
Dissection of cadavers available

Sunday and Monday Oct 23rd and 24th: Hands-On Days Live Horses

Track A: Hoof Trimming
Utilize Xray to check your evaluation of hoof balance and trimming protocol!
Techniques for getting under the horse safely and effectively
Tool use:
Compare different trimming tools
Apply a balanced trim
Evaluate posture and stance

Track B: Alternative Materials
Learn tips and tricks for working with glue and composite shoes
Tried and true methods in all environments: wet, dry, hot and cold
